The Arizona Home Plus Program is a state-wide program that provides a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage, along with down payment assistance (DPA) grant that can be applied towards the down payment and/or closing costs.
First-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, and individuals who have not owned a home in the past three years. The homebuyer must occupy the home as their primary residence.
The program has income limits and purchase price limits, which vary by county and family size. For specific income limits for Pima County, please check the ADOH website or consult with a Home Plus approved lender.
The DPA provided can be either a three-year, forgivable second mortgage, or a five-year deferred second mortgage.
To apply for the Arizona Home Plus Program, you must work with an approved lender. The lender will help you determine your eligibility and guide you through the application process.
